Born and raised near Lucerne, in the heart of Central Switzerland, he possesses an intimate understanding of the region’s pristine natural resources and the cultural importance of high-quality mineral water. With over 20 years of hands-on experience managing the original water brand, development, and sales. Martin has been instrumental in developing and maintaining low-impact, environmentally responsible operations that preserve the integrity of the water source. His commitment to sustainability and quality continues to shape the foundation of Wald’s operations in Europe. Martin is also recognized as a leader in the premium water sectors, and secured the finest European-made glass bottles that now carry the name Wald. His exacting standards for aesthetics, durability, and sustainability have ensured that every detail of the Wald product reflects its Swiss heritage, luxury positioning, and recyclability. Today, Martin serves as Director of European Operations, overseeing sourcing, bottling, and quality assurance from the company's original Swiss facility. His deep-rooted expertise, operational leadership, and passion for excellence continue to guide Wald’s legacy at its source.
